$20,000 Sign on bonus for teams,
$10,000 per driver paid over the first 12 months.
It is paid over one year at $2,500 every 3 months.
Watkins and Shepard will pay up to $6,000 in tuition reimbursement.
Payments will be paid directly to the lender at $150 a month.
If you paid for your own schooling all you need is a copy of the paid invoice and we'll pay you direct.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will Watkins- Shepard reimburse all of the cost of a truck driving school?
W-S will reimburse ONLY the cost of tuition. Any other cost such as lodging, meals, interest on a loan, registration fees, etc. associated with the training will be the responsibility of the driver and not reimbursed by Watkins- Shepard.
If the driver received tuition reimbursement at another employer, are they still eligible for tuition reimbursement at Watkins - Shepard and for how much?
Yes, as long as the driver is hired within a team driver capacity 12 months of graduating from a truck driving school. W-S will deduct the amount they have already received from previous employer(s) from the total reimbursement.
Can the driver be reimbursed for both truck driving school and a refresher course if they both were in the last 12 months?
No, Watkins – Shepard will only reimburse for one. The driver can choose which course they want to receive reimbursement for so long as they can provide the required documents.
The driver does not have proof of payment. Can they still be part of the tuition reimbursement program?
No, if there is no proof of payment driver will not be eligible for reimbursement.
If the driver paid some cash towards their tuition and the military paid the rest, will the driver get reimbursed?
Yes, the driver will be reimbursed for the tuition they paid first and will follow the Driver Paid for Tuition process. Once that is paid off, Watkins-Shepard will begin reimbursing the portion that the military paid and will follow the Tuition Paid by VA process.
